Starting any new eating plan can be challenging, yet also exciting because you’re beginning something new. Your hopes are high and your motivation is at its peak. When you start off, making even small initial changes can produce quick results. That's great motivation and keeps you on track. But, what do you do when the changes you made don't seem to be helping you make progress? As with most people who are trying to slim down and get fit, your body may hit a plateau after a few weeks.

Don't despair! This is a normal part of the process. It may be necessary to tweak your routine. Perhaps it's time to step up your game. Try adding a few minutes or miles to your workout routine. Have you considered switching lunch and dinner? Try eating your largest meal midday, giving your body more active and awake time, to digest the meal. Maybe you've let your portions creep back up in size. It may be a good idea to keep that food journal going to keep yourself honest about your intake. Whatever you do, don't give up!
